Science
I am a retired Navy veteran of 20 years. I started teaching middle school in 2005, and taught at MOLMS for 13 years before moving onto the adult education position. This opportunity allows me to be in the best of both
positions. I am happy to be back and able to teach here again with the 6th graders.
I began my career in education as a public school educator in 1997 as a middle school teacher. In 2016, I moved to East Grand Forks to begin my career as an Administrator. I was the Pre-K-12th grade Principal
at Sacred Heart Catholic School. Then in 2018, I chose to be closer to my family, so I began my current position at Mary of Lourdes School as the Pre-K- 8th grade Principal. My husband and I have been married for 30 years and live in Alexandria. We are blessed to have three grown children that make us proud.
Curriculum
Grade 6
The Water Cycle, Metrics, Scientific Method, Dinosaurs, Intro to Chemistry, Air Pressure and Flight, Forces and Motion, and Electricity.
Grades 7 & 8
The 7th and 8th grade Curriculum follows a two year cycle to cover all the Minnesota Standards for both grades.
