Along with parish ministry, Deacon Craig teaches religion at Mary of Lourdes Middle School for the 5th – 8th grades. His passion is seeing people’s eyes shine with excitement as they learn about our Catholic faith and encounter Christ as they live their faith.

He and his wife Diane, have 4 children and enjoy spending time with them and their grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, camping, and various projects in his metal and woodshop.

My name is Dawn Knopik.  My husband, Lance, and I have six children whom have all attended Mary of Lourdes School. The first 10 years of my teaching career, I taught lower elementary grades. I taught 2 years as a substitute teacher, 2 years

in South Dakota, and 6 years on the Mille Lacs Indian reservation. At that point, I left teaching for 17 years to raise our children.  During this time I was involved at Mary of Lourdes as the Volunteer Coordinator, Parent & School Coordinator and a substitute teacher.  I’m excited to be back in the classroom as a teacher.
