Hello,
I am Teresa Deprez. This year will be my twentieth in education and I have spent 12 of those in Catholic Education. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton, and a Masters of Education with an emphasis on Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University, Orange, California. I have taught almost every elementary grade, including Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th,
and 5th. I most recently taught 4th Grade in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, at Holy Family Catholic School, and so far 4th Grade is my favorite grade to teach. I was born and raised in Southern California, but our family moved to North Idaho to be closer to my extended family after the loss of my husband Jonathan in January 2020. I am recently remarried to my bison rancher, husband John and we have 7 young adult children between us. My husband and I are both cradle Catholics and all of our children graduated from Catholic Schools and we are huge proponents for Catholic Education. Last year I worked as a Guardian ad Litem for the Minnesota Family Courts, and realized how much I missed teaching. I am so excited to be here at Mary of Lourdes School and to be back in Catholic Education. I am looking forward to a fun and faith-filled year.

Mrs. Bridget Trutwin
[email protected] My name is Bridget Trutwin and I am one of the fourth grade teachers here at Mary of Lourdes Catholic School. I graduated from Bemidji State University with my degree in Elementary Education and have been in the education field for just over 9 years. In addition to teaching, I also volunteer to coach softball and basketball. My favorite part of 4th grade is learning about God and growing in our faith.
When I am not at school you can usually find me at my children’s sporting events, in a tree (I love hunting!) or out on the lake. Being a true Minnesotan, I like to enjoy everything that God has created.
