Teacher Biography I'm pleased to be starting my second year as the middle school art teacher and 7th grade health teacher. The previous 9 years of my teaching career were spent as a fourth grade teacher in the elementary building. I'd often thought about making a switch to the middle school and was pleased when this opportunity arose. I really like all subjects, so am hoping to use art as an integrating tool throughout the curriculum. I'll also be encouraging students to take advantage o the opportunities that our local art center offers. We're fortunate to have such a fine facility in a community no larger than this. This is important. I LOVE junk art and using recycled materials for projects. I'll keep you aware of things you may be able to donate to our room. Thanks!!
