7th LA 3rd and 4th Hour

This week begins our next novel. The calendar below lists assignments through Christmas break. Beneath the calendar at the bottom of this page is the rubric attachment for our next story for those of you interested in looking ahead!

6th Grade Computers

Our class just finished internet research of China, followed by a week of study halls so that Mrs. Hynes could use the lab with the LA classes. Students used the online touring site of WorldHeritageTours.org and really seemed to enjoy that. We're back to "Mavising" to be soon followed by internet research of Greece.

5th Grade Media

We spent some time in the library researching parts of a book as well as arranging Fiction books in the library. We also spent a few days in the computer lab typing on our Mavis Beacon program. It's fun watching the students experiment with and figure out new things on the computers!

About Me

This is my 10th year teaching at MOL schools. My family and I have lived here for the past 15 years. Our son is a senior at the high school and my husband works for the city doing maintenance and park and rec. work. He is also a member of the LF Volunteer Fire Dept.

When I am not at work, I am quite active at my church. I spend quiet time reading, and family time fishing, game and card playing.
