Mary of Lourdes Middle School Library
October 25, 2007

Call to order: 6:30 pm President Mary Bednarek lead with prayer and conducted the meeting.

Introductions – Introductions made, nine H&S members present.

Approval of Agenda- With the addition of two items to the agenda being that of flu shots and Santa parade, Motion to approve by Luann J, Michelle F second.

Secretaries Report- Read and Motion to approve by Luann J, Michelle F second.

Treasurers Report- Teachers allowed an additional $25.00 spending money per classroom. Treasurers report Read and Motion to approve by Michelle F, Sharon Bauer second.

Correspondence – None

Old Business –
Marathon No formal report on marathon. School marathon celebration on Friday, 11/2 at 3:30 at the Middle School.

Flu shots After discussion, Motion made not to fund flu shots for staff by Luann J, second Michelle F. Motion passed not to fund.

New Business –
Wish list Motion made by Luann J, second Rachel D, to fund $650.00 for the Net Retreat for Middle School Students and to fund approximate cost of $428.00 for tables for Religion Classroom at the Middle School. Motion passed to fund both of the above. Discussion on need for bibles for Middle School students. Mrs Becker will put a notice in church bulletins to ask parishioners for donations for new bibles at $23.95 each, total $383.00.

Santa Parade Fri, 11/23. 8th graders will be involved in decorating the float and participating in the parade. More info to 8th grade students.

Carousel of Crafts Sat, 12/1, 9:00-3:00. To date 56 out of 120 booths sold at $45.00 each. Volunteers needed for set up.

All parents are invited and encouraged to come to their Home and School meetings.
