Minutes—MOL Home and School Association Meeting
Thursday February 21, 2008—MOLMS Library

I. Call to Order
A. Prayer—Judi Ficek
B. Introductions—President Mary Bednarek. Those in attendance were Mary B., LuAnn Jarvis, Maria Heymans Becker, Paul Schieffert, Judi F., Bryan Tollefson.
C. Approval of Agenda—Motion by LuAnn J., second by Paul S.
D. Approval of Minutes of January meeting—Motion by LuAnn, second by Bryan T. NOTE: Proposed by law changes will be published in newsletter twice before April meeting.
E. Approval of Treasurer’s Report—Motion by Judi, second by Paul.
F. Correspondence—None
II. Old Business
A. Magazine Sale—Maryrose Capko chaired, nearly 1300 magazine orders received and profits look to be close to $12,000.00.
B. Playground Equipment Update—Not available, will do in March
C. Spaghetti Dinner/Raffle/Basket Auction—Planned for March 28 at MOLMS. Mary B. will chair dinner, Judi F. has raffle tickets at $50 each, Jeanne Moe and Carolyn Zimney are organizing theme baskets with the teachers. They will be available for bidding starting March 14.
III. New Business
A. Wish List—Nothing approved for purchase. Paul updated amount needed for Computer Lab to $10,000.00. Discussion was held about hopes for Home & School to cover entire amount after final fundraisers are completed.
B. Spring Social—Date TBA, Chair Rainya Strack.
C. Next Meetings—Thursday March 13 at MOLES Library, 6:30 pm, and final meeting of year, with officer elections, April 17 at MOLMS. This is also night of Science Fair.
