Religion Our last chapter has us exploring the ways to give glory to God.  A story about St. Francis giving glory to God will be part of our discussions. Math The chapter will be finished this week.  The chapter review will come home today.  The test will be on Thursday. Social Studies The children are learning a lot about some of our country's symbols.  We will finish the unit and test on Thursday. Language Arts The plays are figured out.  I will send the book home every night so your child can practice fluency and expression.  Please help your child to bring the book back to school every day. Language Arts Fair Date: Friday, May 26 Time: 12:00-12:50 OR 2:00-2:50 Place: our classroom The children will perform three plays and then recite poetry.  You will be able to read stories written by the children. Costumes Our three plays have animals for characters.  We will work on simple costumes in school.  If you wish to work at home on a simple costume, that would be fine. Extra info: *Math, Social Studies, and Science tests this week. *Mass on Wednesday, children may change into shorts after mass. *Wacky Olympics on Wednesday, May 31st. *I am cleaning cupboards so your child may bring home books, games, etc... to keep.
