Religion The next chapter in the text wxplains how the apostles started the church after receiving the Holy Spirit.  We will list the different leaders of the Catholic church. Math Tomorrow we will take a test on measurement.  The chapter review sheet is going home today. Social Studies This week the children will tell us their ideas for new holidays.  I am excited to hear these creative ideas.  Thank you for your help at home. Language Arts We will read several stories about museums and what can be found in these places.  The skill of identifying the sound of "y" when it is the last letter in a word will be introduced. Mid-term reports The mid-term reports came home on Thursday.  These should be signed and returned to school.  Thank you. Talking About Touch We will finish up this unit this week and talk specifically about how to handly bullying.  We will practice saying "no" in an assertive way. Field Trip Attached is a letter explaining our end of the year field trip.  Our class could take one chaperone.  If interested please send a note.  If I have several offers, I will draw from a hat. Extra info: *Last early release day is Wednesday. *For the next three weeks we will have mass on Friday as they are being planned by kindergarten. *I am missing reading books.  Please check at home for hardcover books- Favorite Things Old and New and Let's Learn Together.
