The next chapter covers the events after Easter. We will hear the stories of the Ascension of Jesus and the coming of the Holy Spirit.
Math
We will continue to measure using different containers, scales, and sticks.
Social Studies
The last homework assignment came home last Thursday and is due on Monday. We will explore the many different events to celebrate with our families.
Language Arts
There are six books with our new reading series. Last week we began the fifth book. Mrs. Primus and I are going to move through this book rather quickly in hopes of finishing both books by the end of the year. There are many wonderful stories to be read!
Mid-term reports
The last mid-term report for this school year will come home on Thursday. This should be signed and returned to school. Thanks!
Talking About Touch
The ideas for this week are to distinguish between a safe and an unsafe touch. We will discuss what to do when receiving an unsafe touch.
Enough rest?
Since the time change I have noticed that many of the children are very sleepy. I realize with the nice weather it is harder to get the children to bed at a reasonable time. We still have a lot of learning left in these last 5 weeks. Thanks for helping with this!
